How Does
Community Energy
Work?

Community Energy projects are a way for communities to come together to generate or save energy for themselves - saving money and reducing pollution.

Community energy projects cover a wide range of activities – some projects are focused on renewable electricity generation such as solar panels, hydropower or wind turbines. Others are more about how we make our homes more energy efficient and reduce fuel poverty.
