Empowering communities across Stroud District
What is SACEN?
Stroud Area Community Energy Network (SACEN) is a group of community volunteers and local energy experts who support the growth of community owned energy across the greater Stroud area.We support communities, local organisations and businesses to plan, raise funds for, and install clean energy for community benefit. We run regular network meetings, public information events, and campaigns to help you understand how community energy works.

Local projects
We are lucky to have a lot of local expertise in the Stroud area. One local project is Minchinhampton School - and Community Hub - installed by Gloucestershire Community Energy Coop.
